View From the Kitchen Window

If getting out of bed and tottering into the kitchen a couple of times to make tea can be interpreted as a sign of progress, then there has been some. OilMan takes good care of me but making tea is not within his purview. Not really within mine either since I am not a tea drinker, but this is ginger and lemon tea...way outside OilMan's job description.

The picture from the kitchen features a prominent strip of yellow mustard. It is planted as a cover crop between the rows of vines, and we always know that, although there might be the odd false alarm, spring really is on the way. This is a poor example of the rampant mustard fields all around us, but the kitchen window is as far as I got today.
