Long day!

Hubby had a hospital appt in south Birmingham today. I drove him down this morning - it took about 3.5 hours due to roadworks and speed restrictions. Then we were waiting an hour for his appointment, as they were running behind... the appointment took over an hour and then we went to a local Japanese restaurant to let the traffic die down before heading home. Another 3+ hours. Exhausted now. Note - I didn’t have the beer. Well, not more than a mouthful anyway. It was lovely and I wish I could have had the bottle.
