A collection of new grey hairs

I know I'm old and stuff, but Birthdays are great - aren't they?! It's been such a great day and I feel suitably loved and celebrated!

I've had lots of thoughtful gifts, the usual good supply of books, a National Trust membership, a cake made by one of the super Ellies, lunch bought for me by sakface (even though she was too poorly to be in town), hung out with some fab young people and done a good deal of pootling around on my bike.

Nice to reflect on a good year. Even though I'm old now, I'm a very happy old lady.

(Today is the 10th Birthday that I've celebrated on blip. Always so nice to look back).
