Villa Verde Windmills

We took a drive along the West Coast of Feurteventura and saw two windmills on the ridge of a small village called Villa Verde, just along the road from the larger town of La Oliva. There's a lot of windmills dotted about the island; it makes sense as most of the time it's windy or breezy!

The drive took us up the bendy mountain range of Mirador de las Penitas where for miles there was stunning scenic views. We enjoyed a coffee in the visitor centre at its highest point.
