Tangled

This sign was obviously placed when the estate was newly built and has become deeply entangled in the surrounding hawthorn bush. It’s as if someone has been asleep for 100 years and this relic has remained in place. It’s a curious sign too. I wonder what a redesign for the 2020s would look like.
