Vacation Over Easy

The glow of the recently set sun and the city lights seemed like a fitting blip for this Monday spent on the western edge of the U.S.

We did not do anything of significance today, except relax.
No agenda,
No "have-to's,"
Just a lot of "what ever feels good."

Late afternoon we took a drive from our place on E. Cliff Drive near Twin Lakes over to Steamer Lane on W. Cliff Drive to watch several dozen surfers doing what surfers do. Then made a quick stop at the grocery to pick-up a few things, and back to this beach house to grill burgers.

I think we're taking the long way home--this journey has had stops in San Luis Obispo, Monterey, and now Santa Cruz. Just getting further and further from home. We get to sleep in our own bed this Saturday night, but till then we're just going to stay down the rabbit hole following the path of the White Rabbit. Bob dog is looking for the Cheshire Cat.
