Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree...

I went to Olinda today. A lovely township in the Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges. There is a National Rhodedendron Garden which is in full bloom. Set over hundreds of acres, I was spoilt for choice with my Blips today... until, just as I was leaving I spotted two kookaburra's sitting in the trees above the picnic area, eyeing up all the revellers food and swooping down for the bread that was being tossed to them. Sadly, I haven't heard them laugh yet, but I'm still listening!
