Scotch Creme Egg

Sarah said she couldn't eat this as she's a vegetarian. I told her that if there's sausage meat inside something has gone badly wrong. See extra for the actual contents (really not very good). 

I dropped Sarah at the wildlife rescue this morning but didn't stay myself as I have an annoyingly bad back - popped in to see so of the new residents though, including a herring gull and a kestrel - there's a never ending supply of needy animals. Managed to get one of the 2 dodgy boilers fixed, got an email from DHL to say they are delivering my iPad today (hooray but still not here) and had a go at clipping the dog's claws. The latter did not end well and I am in the doghouse having maimed the hound. Well, having caused a microbe of blood but you'd have thought I'd severed her whole limb, she's such a wuss. 

David is studying for a tax exam and keeps asking me questions I don't know the answers too - the sort of stuff I knew 25 years ago when I was taking tax exams myself and have not used one single time since......


EDIT - Ipad turned up. After the delivery company being so arsey about someone having to be in to sign and it being absolutely and utterly and completely impossible to leave it with a neighbour, the delivery man's PDA was out of charge so he said I didn't need to sign....
