Up & Down

To Blackwater in Hampshire in a day, this time in ‘Big Red’ with Clare doing the driving.
A not as early start with a breakfast stop at Cartgate, (they do fried bread with the breakfast!) where Joshua reduced his Muma to tears with an early Mother’s Day Card and gift. This was followed by a ‘pit stop’ at Sainsbury’s so Josh could shave and change.
Dropping Josh at Gibraltar Barracks was always going to be difficult, he gets homesick, lots of bags up to the guardroom and then Clare and I were away.
Coffee at brother Gary’s before a subdued journey home where we were greeted with accusing looks by the dog who had been on her own for another day.
