The Throne

Following on from yesterday's blip, this is the piece of furniture of which a small portion made an appearance.
Known in the family as "The Throne", it is a gentleman's carving chair, probably part of a dining room set, which my grandfather picked up at auction many years ago. When he died it passed down to my Dad and when I told him that we were emigrating to Finland, he asked me if I would like to take it with me.
It made the journey safely and especially now that my Dad has passed away, it takes pride of place among my possessions.
I wonder where it will end up when I too am gone?
