What Are We Waiting For?

This is part of the cue of cars waiting to drive onto the ferry that goes between the North Island and the South Island.  There was a delay and we all waited in the hot sun.  That meant we were late getting to Wellington.  The crossing itself was calm and I slept for a lot of it.  Understandably I didn't have a good nights sleep last night.  Getting off the ferry was also a drawn out process and we were in the last off cue.  The good news was it's very easy to get to our sons house from the ferry.  It is his first home and after years of renting it is delightful to see him in a warm, comfortable house with some garden around it.  I'm also using his wifi :-)
