Finally a cardinal!

They have been elusive or spooked easily this year so I haven't been able to get to close before today. I think they were more interested in the feeders due to the sudden appearance of snow. ( And it was actually partly sunny - almost unheard of in these parts. ) Mr Cardinal was  hiding in the bushes checking out the feeder to make sure there was space for him and his lady amongst all the blackbirds.
