A lazy, pottering kind of day. Don't think anyone in the house was really up to much really, the grown-ups had the excuse of a late night and alcohol consumption to blame for their general lack of vigour, the children...well, they all just seemed knackered!

So, did venture out to a local park for some playground activity and that was about the limit of our exertions. That tower block in the background is part of the infamous Broadwater Farm by the way. It's got a reputation alright, mostly from the events of 27 years ago, but as that article I just linked to suggests, things these days are considerably better. Loads of people out playing football on the five-a-side pitches and some community event involved BMX tuition by the looks of things were going on. Some decent facilities and playground equipment, with some more building work being done, looked there was a fair amount of cash being channeled into the area.

Better have a music to finish. Nowt to do with nowt, just summat else from last night's shopping trip East.
