Ugly is not quite the word I use to describe this doll but it’s the only photo I’ve taken today in pursuit of something to fit the theme.
As you can see, the poor thing has a tracheostomy, and has to be fed through a tube in his nose.
He lives on the window ledge in my office and keeps a close eye on what I’m doing, he really gives me the creeps!
He does have great purpose though, enabling new nurses to practice the skills they may need to care for our more beautiful patients.
