Vestiges In The Verges

Not a great photo, but an excuse to use the word 'vestiges', so can't be bad.
A very late afternoon walk with the dogs due to horrible rain all day. The light was fading by the time we got out, it was still drizzling and there was just a bit of snow left here and there.
A bit of drama on the walk - a big black cow was in the middle of the lane. I saw a farmer in the field and called across to him - he thought it might be his brother's cow but didn't seem very bothered! I then had to flag down an oncoming car to tell them to slow down before they hit the cow! It's all going on in the Welsh country lanes you know!
