the great thaw

Day #4 of the UCU strike for our pensions. The picket line at KB was strong again in spite of cold and drizzle. There was a meeting today between the employers and the union. The employers were using delaying tactics and so far no agreements were reached. Well, we will keep striking. 

After picketing I went for a nice walk through Holyrood Park to check out the snow situation. It's amazing it's almost all gone overnight. Instead Arthur's Seat was shrouded in clouds (see extra). I felt a bit sorry for the tourists who I met halfway up on their last day trying to get a view from the top. 

I did update my website with Beast from East pictures. It was fun while it lasted. I am looking forward to the spring now.
