At the Passo della Consuma

We were up early after watching the Italian elections unfold on Twitter. Not a great night, to be honest.

After dropping the Boss off I wound my way up over the Consuma and stopped for a second breakfast at the cafe. Then down into mild and incessant light rain to the house.

I straightened up a few things and lit the stove, made the guys coffee and felt tired.

The jet stream has been pushed way south over southern Spain and Portugal by the polar vortex. The normal lows that would be over the UK are tracking in over Spain and the Mediterranean and washing over the high and low ground of Central Italy for the next week.
