Maple Creek in Winter

This afternoon I took my Brittany for a romp through the waist high canary grass now in winter repose along the banks of Maple Creek where it flows into Siltcoos Lake. He spent most of his time lurching and lunging into deep holes, warrens and burrows where only he and the inhabitants know what therein dwells.
