Potions and lotions

This is our local pharmacy . The new owners have retained the original fittings on the two side walls . It would have been fascinating to know what was contained in the original drawers . In the past the pharmacist was allowed to make up a one off cream but nowadays these would be “specials” and would be made elsewhere often at vast expense and the local prescribing adviser would be on the phone !
