Watchers (Day 1031)

After a quick trip to Stromness first thing this morning to sort a minor problem, I headed to town to collect bits to repair leaks at a farm at Birsay. I zoomed off to Birsay and got on with fixing the first of the leaks, watched by an inquisitive audience. When I switched the water back on, a new leak appeared further along the pipe, meaning another trip to town for more bits. I stopped briefly at home on the way back to Birsay, to see my beautiful wife and grab a quick lunch. Back at the farm, my audience was delighted when I got the leak fixed and their water trough started to re-fill. The next leak repair meant standing in the bucket of a load-all and being lifted up to the roof. Less scary than being on a ladder.
The extra today is a selfie with my audience. Normally I don't like being watched whilst I work, today I didn't mind. Though I could have done without the snuffling, licking and nudging...
