J from two doors down knocked on ours this evening to drop off a parcel that'd been delivered at his place for safe keeping whilst i was out on a job earlier. turned out to be my belated birthday present from ladySp33d and the various cash-for-present givers. and ace it is too!

this thing is supposed to track my daily activity, runs and exercise by converting movements into a 'fuel' score as well as keeping tabs on how many calories i've burned and number of steps taken. kindof like having my own motivation team on my wrist. apparently.

i'd wanted a jawboneUP after spotting a post by S2 a while back but due to a hardware issue they were removed from sale, so this is the newest next-best-thing in wearable tech. not quite the same (there's no vibratory wakeyupthing goin' on here) but it is a very comfortable watch, something i've not worn for eons.

the typography on the band not matching what is shown on the packaging really bugs me though, ya know?
