Apt

Woke feeling refreshed after a lovely sleep in a giant bed! Relaxed with a cuppa and some Sunday morning TV before checking out and braving the rain. We headed for breakfast before a trip to the shops for some haircare essentials and some cookies for Lil sis. I managed to pick her something up for her upcoming birthday too.
The blip was taken when we headed to the Maritime museum to view their currently apt exhibition, 'The Enduring Eye', a selection of photographs from Sir Ernest Shackleton's trans-antartic expedition. They displayed what real snow is! And some amazing stories of human endurance without basic essentials. It also reminded me of the scenes of cars being towed through the snow, locally this week.
We completed the food shop on our way home, opting to shop in Hull due to the empty shelves of our local supermarkets!
After unpacking we headed to The Mother's for tea before prepping for work tomorrow!
