Leaving home ...

... trying to drive out from home.
Fibre broadband cable is being laid in our street. As you can see it’s a very narrow hilly street. And yes we usually drive in the left in NZ. Not here, today. I’ve just driven up my drive and around that truck on the left. There’s a little digger hiding behind that truck. People everywhere. It was a right shambles. We’ll all be thankful when it’s finished.
The road crews haven’t even started fixing the damage done to the road by all the quakes. That’ll be another right old picnic. And I couldn’t care less about getting fibre anyway!
Another hot day, but it looks like cooler temps coming.
