Belated Birthday Party

Surprise!! 2 weeks after my birthday as it took so long for us to return from Denver, the rest of my family and a couple of friends came round unannounced as L and B had been planning a surprise Birthday party with cake and balloons - the balloons were a little sad as they were provided by a shop with little experience in the science of helium balloon filling but as I said they were somewhat reflective of the age of the recipient I.e. they had seen better days! Anyway it was great to hang out and enjoy the company of people I love and a nice way to spend the afternoon before watching the Oscars in the evening and after swimming this morning - 3rd time this week!!
