we used to go to the cutty sark on high days and holidays when we had visitors and wanted to impress them with our heritage-laden surroundings.

this lot used to be displayed in the bowels of the boat

now cutty sark appears to float in its dry dock and looked wonderful in the sun with this lot looking along the length of the ship

bored the kids with tales of my youth and showing them my homes.

then three of us headed north to grandparents and two stayed south for more metropolitan glamour
