Surprise

My husband and I had been invited to our friends joint 60th birthday party. A few people hadn't been able to make it because of the weather but most of those invited were there. Which is very lucky as it turned out they were getting married!!!!

After being together for 29 years with a 24 year old son they had decided to tie the knot. It was a complete surprise for everyone and a very emotional moment when it became clear what was happening. The chaplain from the school I used to work in conducted the ceremony and it was perfect.

I'm sure it would have been a great 60th party but it ended up being a fantastic wedding reception, celebrating a wonderful occasion.
