... doing your own thing. Jay and I have been happily married for coming up to 44 years and we love each other more than we did when we married, but I believe that we should have time to do what each of us wants to. 
Take the scenario in the photo, Jay is upstairs in bed, playing spider on her tablet, checking out facebook and watching Jeremy Kyle's 'guests' rip into one another whilst I'm downstairs doing a crossword in silence with a glass of red wine. Chalk and cheese? Maybe, but it works.
