'Sister Claire'

i met sister Claire as she was leaving her bungalow in Glastual on the south side of Dublin. She is part of an ageing generation of nuns whose faith conflicts with modern Ireland. I'm not accustomed to approaching people for a portrait shot, because i have always tried to capture them unawares. its liberating to attempt new methods. i actually got a few nice protraits today, but picked this perticular one for its simplicity
