European Grey Squirrel
This morning, the snow was disappearing fast and even the road at the front of the house was beginning to thaw. By this afternoon almost all of the snow in the garden had disappeared. It is no longer as cold and the temperature in my conservatory is plus six degrees Celsius. During this cold spell it has been as low as plus two degrees Celsius.
Today’s picture was taken of this Squirrel; it was just outside the back door. I often wonder if they ever find the nuts they bury, this one certainly could. It was digging holes in the lawn and then eating whatever it was that it had dug up.
Another day of inactivity ready for the week ahead. Students to speak with on two days and two separate Addenbrookes hospital appointments, so it will be a busy week.
