Golden Cap

Up early with the sun and off along the Coastal Path to Golden Cap, which is apparently the highest point on the South Coast - it certainly felt like it and there was an icy wind that was positively brutal at times. Worth it, though and there was a bench just above this line of trees that was sheltered enough to sit on and crack open the flask. And then it was back to the cottage for a nice cooked breakfast. We'd pretty much decided that we'd done enough for the day by then but we eventually mustered up the energy for a drive to Lyme Regis for a wander along the Cobb to justify more tea and cake  later...
