Souter Lighthouse

Last day of our flying trip to the NE and we were out early as Uncle James was at work at 1pm. We went to Souter Lighthouse, a National Trust property that I had never been to before. We were able to climb to the top, where we had an excellent view. As it was half term there were also a variety of sports going on in the garden for free. All our kids gravitated to the archery! We had a picnic, out of the wind, where it actually wasn't too bad, then we said our goodbyes and headed home. Will cried for at least the first five miles because he didn't want to leave Ellie and Charlie.
