Save a Back

My back is the one that's going to be saved by this project -- a bench-top bench. I hope I don't hurt my back moving it -- The wood was surprisingly heavy when I did a test lift, and there's more to come when the hardware is added!

Cynthia inspired this project recently when she saw me bending over my workbench practicing chip carving. She asked me how how long I'd been working like that. As I straightened up with an involuntary groan, I replied, "too long!".
