Ice flowers

This months project for AYWMC is ice flowers. I couldn't do last moths photographing the nights sky, it's rubbish round here. This is my first attempt at freezing flowers in cool boiled water, it's not very good but it was interesting and made me buy a bunch of flowers for the project.
Had a lovely day today my sister Kate came over and we went to the wool shop. Kate suggested I used a different wool for the borders so I've just spent an hour doing one and it looks good. From there we went and had a lovely lunch at Bents then a visit for Sahara to meet her great aunt Kate. I've still not seen her awake. She is getting bigger and doing well.
