Psychedelic Cabbage

Not a cross section of my snow addled brain, but the result of a grey, slushy day when we didn't go further than the shops and no blips presented themselves.

I thought I'd have a go at replicating a mono photo of a red cabbage I'd seen in the latest edition of a photography magazine, designed to emphasise the natural patterns.

My version seemed a little limp and unexciting (may have had something to do with the fact that the cabbage had been in the fridge for a couple of weeks!) so I thought I'd liven it up a bit with some post processing. Rather liked the volanic results.

Spent the afternoon watching a bit of football and cooking a beef and pumpkin curry. No cabbage involved - that went in the recycling bin :)
