Still Snowy

Plenty of snow still about to make walking around difficult - much slipping and sliding in Beaumont Park, but it was still pretty.

This morning we went to the official opening of the new intensive care room at Meltham Wildlife - see extra for the Mayor of Meltham cutting the ribbon. Sarah sold many of her vast cuddly toy collection and raised over £150 (another extra) - she had a grand time chatting to the customers and the event raised nearly £700 in total thanks to the hard work of Kathy and the other volunteers. My contribution involved cleaning up a lot of pigeon poop!!! The lady in the photo wanted a gorilla - we have a huge cuddly gorilla, the sale of which was vetoed at the last minute by David, who couldn't bear to be parted from it. Not enough for him to allow it to  be live in his room though - it will be in the next sale, no arguments.
