Kidney Day!

It's the first anniversary of Janet's kidney transplant and we're celebrating! 

In fact it was a year ago yesterday, but we were getting over the nasty little bug Janet brought back from Cornwall. So today we've been out for lunch with my brother (where we also got to discuss a wedding happening toward the end of the month - you know, what not to include in the speech, etc). 

Wow! What a difference a year makes. A year ago we were working slowly towards a very different future, and now we're looking forward to yet more fun. So here's Janet in her happy hat, out in the reducing snow and increasing slush, working off a decent steak and chips.

In the extra I've put last night's Prosecco. The snow's not so good now so tonight's bottle is in the fridge. Cheers.
