Thawing .....

The thaw has started, what a difference it makes overnight.

Birds making the most of the feeder this morning - managed to catch this lovely robin on our new feeder.

Feeling a little blurry eyed today - last night Caleb woke around 11pm, very hot (40 degrees), very rosy cheeks and was sick. Telephone call to 111 who advised a trip to the hospital. They returned home around 2am (needless to say I couldn’t sleep so waiting for them). They said it was/is a virus, although they are aware that there is “slapcheek” going around at the moment. Today he is very clingy with mummy, still has a bit of a temperature but ibruprofen and calpol helping and encouraged to drink plenty.
