Looking cold

I hope this will be the last snowy blip for a while.  The snow is slowly thawing but leaving behind a damp, dreary mist, so much so that I decided not to go for a walk but to battle with a clock that is being uncooperative.  It is one of those annoying mechanisms that works fine on test but misstrikes after the half hour struggle to recase it. Of course, once it is in the case, you can't see where the fault lies! This is the fifth attempt and, fingers crossed , it is behaving itself. I decided to bring it home so at least my struggles could be in front of a roaring fire in the warm, unlike this poor blackbird which looks decidedly cold.
