Highwalk flower

Another Arctic day!  I went to the doctor's first thing this morning - finally getting a referral, after many years, for my general (and chronic) run-down-ness.  I walked down to Lewisham after that and got on a train to Cannon Street almost straightaway - result!  It wasn't even busy, so I got a seat too.  Nice being back on - almost - my usual route so that I could walk via the Barbican again.  Got a few snowy and icy shots around there.  Gave my Mum a call too, to thank her for the beautiful flowers she sent me yesterday.  She's poorly again (or still - she didn't really get much time in the middle to get better), but hopefully will be on the mend soon.

Had a really useful call at work this morning, and got a few bits and pieces cleared too.  I was the only one in my office (of normally 4 people), which made for a quiet day.  

The trains had a lot of problems again this evening, so I caught the DLR to Lewisham and then the bus home from there again.  Had a lovely lazy evening snuggled up in front of the TV.
