Rekha

Thank you to Alsaciennes for organising us ahead of International Women's Day this week.  For my contribution I instantly thought of Rekha who, together with husband Smylah, runs our village post office and store.  Nothing is too much trouble in this shop and there is always time for banter, making it a happy place.  As with many women, Rekha manages family, home and long hours at work whilst still remembering her customers' needs, asking after them when they've been ill and all that stuff which puts a store like this at the heart of the village.
