Friday: Evening Street

It was my turn to feel a little winsome today so we stayed close to home, enjoying a very relaxing day by the pool. By the evening, I was much improved so we headed into town for something to eat at a nice little Italian restaurant we discovered last year. I had some really nice pasta, which was just the thing.

I didn't really take many photos today so here is a lazy evening shot.

Spending the day by the pool gave me the chance to finish my book. I've always been good at picking breezy, fast-paced poolside reads and, in that vein, have just finished Franz Kafka's 'The Trial'. It really was very strange and quite absurd but I'm very glad I've read it.
