Silly Surplus

Thank you admirer for giving us something to do on Saturdays.

Yesterday I got notice there was a parcel for me at the post office, not that I was expecting one.
It was a new modem for the NBN which I have had for a couple of weeks now. 
I ordered one modem and now they have sent a second one. 
Considering the trouble many of us are experiencing with the new system, maybe they assume the first one won't work.
Or perhaps it will work twice as fast now?

The lady at PO suggested it might be a modem as soon as I mentioned I wasn't expecting a parcel.
Apparently I'm not the first to get two.
Silly people.
