And all is back to normal...

Our boat must have come in because the shelves are all stocked up... but I don't really need anything so just browsed in amazement to see all that food!
Just as I was about to walk across to take this photograph I noticed a bus going to L'Ancresse looked as if it might be leaving soon so I thought I'll grab a quick photograph to be sure of having a blip then take a ride out. I took this photograph and turned around in time to see the bus heading off along the seafront. So back to my original plan of the book I'm reading on my kindle.
I'd not been back long and the phone rang to say my specs were ready at Supersavers. If I hadn't been wearing a scruffy sweatshirt I would have gone across without a coat but certainly back to Crocs weather thank goodness.
And having the varifocal moved up has had the desired effect and I can now see the computer screen. Result! Now I know the new prescription is OK I can get off to the posh optician and order the bright yellow bendy specs I've fallen in love with. I did wear contact lenses for a while but since I love specs so much I decided it was a lot of faffing around for nothing.
