Mardi Gras!

Not the real thing, I'm afraid., just the marshalling area in Hyde Park.
As it's the fortieth anniversary the crowds were huge and I think I'm past being able to photograph the actual parade, so this is the next best thing.

I've been trying to upload a flickr set, but will wait til I'm in Blackheath where we have a much faster connection, so have added a few extras.

Everything looks shiny and squeaky clean, unlike after the after party where Cher will star. 
If I was thirty years younger I'd hang around for the 5am shots:))
