Snow!

This was the view from my bedroom window just after seven o'clock, this morning. I think snow was forecast - I hadn't taken much interest - but this was a pretty comprehensive covering. 

Dan and Abi were, truth be told, less excited than me, especially once it was apparent that the school was going to be open for business as usual. Which was just as well, as I had a bit of business there, this morning.

After that, I had to drive down to Preston for a meeting with my colleague, Janet, the Minx (wearing her work hat), and some senior people at the Trust to talk about a possible project. Despite the snowy weather and various warnings, I had a lovely drive down; the motorway was dry and the sky was clear.
