Newlands Valley - Icy!

Thought it would be a good idea to see how easy it was to get around before our next batch of workshops begin on Sunday. I drove some of the way down Newlands Valley - concentrating on the flat bits of road! When I stopped to take some photos, and got out of the car, it was almost impossible to stand on the road for the ice, but the car had coped really well. 

All the main roads through the Lakes are clear, it's just all the minor roads and passes that are a real challenge.

Loved the simplicity of these trees against the snowy landscape - I've given it a slight selinium tone in Silver Efex Pro.
