Pushing Through

Walking through the woods I noticed a lot of these little plants pushing up through the snow - remarkable resilience I thought.

We had a bonus get-together with our daughter and granddaughter as Mrs madwill was unexpectedly free after all her ‘students’ for the afternoon class called  off because of the weather! So we had a late lunch of coffee and cakes and we had a long natter too.

I went to ‘rest my eyes’ when we got home and finished up sleeping for a couple of hours! So my blip never got posted and I was straight into cooking tea when I woke up!
