Purple haze

Mrs Weah floated around the office today in a riot of purple fabric. Here she is saying goodbye to Luke, who has been visiting from the UK office. Mrs Weah had her computer open with an email trail and subject line 'grandma house that got burnt', which sounds like a sorry event. I didn't pry further but people were offering condolences.

These days in Liberia are interesting and productive. Skyping the UK is hard as the internet connection is still poor since the provider burnt down and I blocked the office toilet while some important new donors were visiting for a meeting with colleagues. Despite these setbacks there's an excellent atmosphere in the office, much energy and attention around conservation in Liberia and some fantastic characters.

I never have asked why we have fake animal fur print upholstered on our chairs in the Liberia office. I must remember to investigate.
