What a lot of snow we had today!  We were  getting very worried about getting to Birmingham airport so we made a panic rush while conditions still allowed.   

Luckily we managed to get a good price for a room at the Travelodge  at the airport where we are now.  Mind you,  the journey which should have taken us 40 minutes actually took 2.5 hours due to two jack-knifed lorries.
