Nice and Slow

Indeed today was that, a curious day as it went on, thaw seemed to be setting in, but simultaneously a soft snow fell constantly for the last 24 hours. Who knows what tomorrow brings. After several hours hard reading and browsing we set off to walk into town, not as tough a journey admittedly as Pensioner's return from The Diggers, ( recreated here )slush abounded and snowballs, a few fortifying hot whiskeys were had in the cosiness of O'Donovan's before setting off home, with some chocolate and whiskey and a lemon, all 5-a-day covered there.
